It feels like we have been talking about this since the expansion was first announced way back in 2018. We’ve watched the cranes rise, tracked the delivery of every single tree in Adventure Way, and analyzed every permit. But tonight, the speculation officially ends. Disney has finally revealed the date.
World of Frozen will officially open its gates on March 29th!
Why This Date Makes Sense
For months, we’ve been hearing “Spring 2026,” a window that was, honestly, very wide. But looking at the date they’ve chosen, it lines up perfectly with the clues we’ve been tracking.
The date is a clear nod to the original Walt Disney Studios Park anniversary (March 16th). It’s poetic to launch the new identity of “Disney Adventure World” exactly when the “original” park turns a year older. It also gives operations a solid few weeks to run soft openings for Cast Members and Annual Passholders before the heavy Easter crowds descend in April and the weather is slowly moving away from Winter and into Spring.

Ready for Arendelle?
This announcement comes hot on the heels of one of the most magical unplanned marketing moments in DLP history: real snow falling on the North Mountain just last week. When you combine that with the recent lighting tests on the Ice Palace and the arrival of the Olaf animatronic, it’s clear that the “Test and Adjust” phase is entering its final, critical stretch.
The End of an Era
This date isn’t just about a new land, as I’ve said before. It marks the official end of the Walt Disney Studios Park and the start of a completely new chapter in the history of Disneyland Paris. A chapter that begins on March 29th, when we will be walking into Disney Adventure World.
We will have videos going up on the channel later this week detailing everything you shared today and more. The question now is:
Will you be there on day one?
And now, as always, thank you for reading and That’s a Wrap!
