I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to Disneyland Paris many times in the past few years and have stayed in several hotels in and around the resort, from the cheapest to ones with a heavier price tag, mostly Disney’s. Just some weeks ago, I traveled to Paris for the 14th of July weekend to watch what was the best nighttime show I’ve ever seen, the Bastille Day Fireworks. Some months earlier, I had seen that a new Disney Partner Hotel was nearing completion, to be named Ki Space Hotel; seeing it was already open, I decided to stay there, and this is how everything went.

Booking and Arriving
It must be said that there are cheaper hotels around the area; however, since it had just opened, Ki Space was running a limited discount which drastically reduced the nightly rate for the weekend I was going. This is also a good time to say I was not sponsored in any way. I paid for my stay and every service/product. After booking the stay from the 14th to the 16th, I paid a total of 196€ with taxes, coming in at just 90€ a night. Without the discount, it would’ve been 120€ a night.
I flew to Orly Airport and got to test the brand new metro line 14, a fully automated metro system, that dropped me off at Gare de Lyon where I caught an RER A to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy, also known as Disneyland Paris. Once I arrived at the train station, I called reception to pick me up because the hotel offers a free shuttle service on demand. After reaching the south bus station, the driver was there. The hotel is one of the furthest partner hotels, but the ride is fast, taking around 10 minutes.

Once I arrived at the hotel, it was clear that it had opened not long before, with some landscaping still to be done. However, the building itself was clean and ready to accommodate guests. Inside, a large and modern lobby welcomed me, just like a couple of very nice “cast members” ready to check me in.

Here, I was told that to enter my room, I had to scan a group of QR codes which I took a picture of. This process was as simple as putting the photo in front of the door lock, similar to how you’d do with a key card.

The Room
After scanning the QR Codes, the door opens and I enter what is an amazing hotel room. I had a great king-sized bed, but there are other types available. On your right, after coming into the room, is the bathroom rocking a magnificent shower and a high-tech mirror that tells the time and weather; however, this didn’t always work.

In the bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette is available with a mini fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove, and other appliances you would normally find here. The TV was very good and had many channels. Overall, I was very impressed with the room as it was very well-equipped and spacious, with a lot of space to store everything you brought.

Hotel Amenities
The Ki Space Hotel has many amenities that guests can enjoy, from a large arcade room, which I haven’t seen in a hotel for some time now, to the pool. However, this wasn’t open during my stay due to it not being finished. The free shuttle service to Disneyland Paris was one of the most important for me, as it is on demand, the reception can call a driver, and in just a few minutes, they’re ready to take you to the Magic Kingdom. It worked well every time I used it, however, it only starts at 9 am, which was a little too late for me because I wanted to use the Extra Magic Hours that my Disneyland Pass includes, so I ordered an Uber the two mornings.

Speaking of morning, the hotel also offers breakfast, but this was perhaps the only not-so-great aspect of my stay. I didn’t include breakfast in my booking as I like to have the freedom to choose on the day, and since the price was the same, I’d choose there and then. On the first morning, I decided to test it out. The food offering wasn’t extensive, but the quality of the food was very good with fresh bread, crêpes, juices, cereal, meats, eggs, and what you usually find. The negative here was the price, which came in at 25€. I found it a bit too much for what was a simple, yet good quality breakfast.

In Conclusion
The new Ki Space is an amazing 4-star partner hotel that offers a luxurious alternative to the Disney Hotels, with excellent rooms and great amenities. For the discounted price I was able to get, it was a no-brainer. Having experienced it, I can safely recommend it as I truly enjoyed my stay there. I would like to return in the future and take advantage of the amenities more, especially the pool!

Hello! Thank you. I haven’t been around the hotel that much but I believe the best option would be either the smaller Lidl or the larger Auchan in the Val d’Europe mall!
